Sermon: The Nature of Paul’s Preaching

In 1 Corinthians 2:1-5, the apostle Paul declared that his preaching in their presence was characterized by the power of God rather than the wisdom of men. To resolve to do something is to earnestly determine to accomplish it. In James 4:14-16, the concept of “resolving” is accompanied with the phrase “if the Lord wills.” If the Lord wills, we should resolve to: Be courageous, Serve the Lord, Not grow weary, Carefully follow Him, and Remember that He is watching. Invitation: Hitting the Bullseye

Invitation delivered by: Roger Paulsel

In this talk, brother Paulsel asks an interesting question. Do we “hit the bullseye” regarding our spiritual activity because we are fulfilling our own expectations? Or because we are fulfilling God’s expectations?! It is only truly hitting the mark if we submit ourself to God’s requirements of us.
