Invitation: Jesus, the Perfect Example
Invitation delivered by: Chad Gallman
Chad points out that if we want to be saved, we can not do our own thing. Instead, we should imitate Jesus Christ, who, though He was the Son of God, did not do His own will, but the will of His Father.
Invitation: Do It and Like It!
Invitation delivered by: Stan Cox
Unlike parents who will say, “You will do it, whether you like it or not,” God calls for us not only to do it (obey Him), but requires that we like it as well!
Invitation: Don’t be Afraid to Miss
Invitation delivered by: Armando Vera
Too often people allow fear to paralyze them to inaction. Christians can be cheated out of character building, becoming what God wants us to be, and becoming successful even to the point of obtaining heaven, all because they are afraid to put forth the effort to succeed. (Matthew 25:14-30)
Invitation: One Way to Salvation
Invitation delivered by: Josh Cox
The world tries to convince us that there are many ways to reach heaven. In this lesson, Josh reveals the one way to be saved.
Invitation: Paul’s Concern
Invitation delivered by: Stan Cox
In 1 Thessalonians 3, Paul expressed concern regarding the Thessalonians, who were suffering persecution. Interestingly, his concern was not for their safety, but for their faith. It was his hope that they would be established “blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints” (1 Thessalonians 3:1-13)
Invitation: The word of the Lord may run swiftly
Invitation delivered by: Stan Cox
The invitation discusses Paul’s prayer request to the Thessalonians in 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3. An application is made to the phrase, “that the word of the Lord may run swiftly”, and the understanding that men who reject the faith are “unreasonable and wicked.”
Invitation: The Gospel is Veiled
Invitation delivered by: Stan Cox
The talk discusses Paul’s statement that the gospel is veiled to those who are perishing (2 Corinthians 4:3). The gospel’s power is persuasive, and will only impact those who are willing to listen. The efforts of God’s people to share the message will not go unrewarded.
Invitation: Are You Crazy?
Invitation delivered by: Stan Cox
On several occasions the apostle Paul was accused of being crazy. In 2 Corinthians 5:13, he wrote, “For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God.” Maybe we too should be crazy for the Lord?

Invitation: Wearing the Name of Christ
Invitation delivered by: Stan Cox
The Christians were called Christians first in Antioch, cf. Acts 11:26. In 1 Peter 4:13, Peter uses the term in the context of suffering for the cause of Christ. We should not be ashamed of wearing the name of the Lord.

When we witness an unexpected death, we realize that life is a vapor. (James 4:14). Since this is so, where are we laying up our treasures?
