Psalm 72 is a Messianic Psalm, detailing the Messiah as King, the nature of His kingdom and extent of His reign.
A relationship with God requires contact with Him, time spent in His presence, trust in Him, and an effort to nurture that relationship. How are you doing?
Joshua serves as a wonderful example of faithfulness in every role he held in his life. Whether as a son, a slave, a servant, soldier, or spy. He saved his people, and is among those set apart by God. May we faithfully serve God as he did.
The true, final and unique gospel of Jesus Christ is worthy of note.
Josiah was as good a man and king as his father Amon was bad. We can learn from both of their examples. Lessons of accountability, priorities, youth and influence are found in the narrative of their lives and reigns.
An exegetical study of the text of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-19, examining the second coming of Jesus.
The objectives of doubt are to destroy faith, question God’s power in our lives, and question the truthfulness of God’s word. In every circumstance, Faith overcomes the effects of doubt in our lives.
Self-Righteousness is sinful. It is the outgrowth of arrogance. However, what many believe to be self-righteousness is not. It is not carefully obeying God’s law. It is not zeal and dedication to the Lord. It is not reproving and rebuking sin, and refusing to fellowship it. We need to differentiate between self-righteousness, and the righteousness of God!
In the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic, arguments are being made by faithful Christians that are not true to the scriptures. Whatever the motivation, we must continue to proclaim the principles concerning the authority of God’s word to protect ourselves from digression.
The word of God is His mirror for us to gaze into, and see what manner of Christian we are. We must know how we look to God that we might approve our appearance, and make whatever changes are necessary to please Him.
Spiritual maturity is not measured by the passing of time, rather how you use the passing of time. Important truths regarding Spiritual Maturity are discussed in the lesson.
What Does God Value in Man? Eyes of humility. A tongue of truth. Hands that do honest work. A good heart. Cautious feet. Those who advocate for justice and mercy, A maker of peace. That is what God values.
The lesson is a discussion of Paul’s prayer, in (1:9-14), where he prayed that the Colossians would be filled with knowledge, walk worthily, and be strengthened.
Nehemiah was the right man in the right place and time for his service to God. He had a heart of compassion and concern for God’s people, and the confidence to provide for them with God’s protection and help.
A discussion of Psalm 20. A petition from the Psalmist that his readers might be protected and defended, may be strengthened, that God may accept them, and answer their prayers, and ultimately that they might be saved.
