Sermons Preached at West Side. Outlines, PPT Presentations and Audio files

The Psalmist in Psalm 96 proclaims praise to our great God in Heaven for what He has done, who He is, and what He will one day do. We too should lift our voices in praise to Jehovah.

The lesson discusses the great joy that we have from fellowship with God, and our brethren in Christ. Some practical suggestions are made showing how to cultivate and rejoice in our love and affection for each other.

In Romans 2:21-22 Paul pointed out the hypocrisy of his Jewish readers. Hypocrisy is a vulgar sin that the Christian must avoid at all cost.

Compassion is a characteristic of God, and His Son Jesus. As such, we should seek to cultivate compassion as His disciples. As God has been merciful to us, we should be merciful to others.

An examination of the seven “I Am” statements of Jesus found in the gospel of John. They show aspects of our Lord’s character, person and place as the Son of God.

The lesson discusses the qualities a Christian needs to successfully accomplish the command to practice hospitality. These attributes are: Compassion, Humility, Kindness and Generosity.

Luke 19:10 record the words of the Lord, “for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” The lesson consists of an examination of these words.

Based on Matthew 5:27-30, the lesson examines sin, its cause, and the means of escaping both it and eternal punishment.

In the midst of a changing world, there is a need for us to hold on to some things which do not change.

David asked, what can the righteous do? A question we should ask in our world today, where enemies of the cross abound. As we trust in our God, we know that a prayerful, righteous life will bring hope and victory.

In Romans 13:11-14, the apostle Paul informs Christians of the need to fulfill their reponsibilities of faith, as the day of salvation nears.
