The words of Jesus in the Book of John. A Sermon Series.

In our final lesson in the study of Jesus’ words in John’s gospel, we recount the conversation Jesus had with Peter in John 21:15-25

Continuing our discussion of Jesus’ words in John’s Gospel. We look at the 3rd occasion the Lord’s appeared to His disciples following His resurrection, and the evidences that prove He is our Messiah.

A discussion of the first conversations Jesus’ held after his resurrection, with Mary Magdalene, and then His disciples.

As we continue our series, we discuss Jesus’ conversation with Roman Governor Pontius Pilate, recorded in John 18.

Our 51st lesson in our series on Jesus’ Words in John’s gospel references the conversation Jesus had with Annas in John 18:19-24.

A discussion of the Holy Spirit’s Work as a Helper to the disciples following the Lord’s leaving the earth (John 16:5-15)

The 43rd lesson in our series of Jesus’ Words in John’s Gospel. This lesson examines Jesus’ promise (in John 15:26-16:4) to send the Holy Spirit to the apostles to enable them in their witness.

Sermon 42 in series.
In John 15:18-25, the Lord warned His disciples to expect the world to hate them, because the world hated Him first. All Christians should expect animosity from the ungodly, and be prepared for it.
With Jesus, concepts of love, joy and obedience go hand in hand. We need to abide in Him and His love.
Jesus is the source of life, and His disciples must be in spiritual fellowship with Him. Without Him we can do nothing.
A discussion of Jesus’ promise to send the Holy Spirit to aid the apostles in their work following His death. (John 14)
