The Lesson is a positive affirmation and examination of what the Bible teaches regarding the beginning of the universe, and life on earth.

The 11th lesson in a series of the life of Jesus. This lesson examines the power that Jesus showed over nature, using the text of Luke 8:22-25, where Jesus stilled the storm.

The default state of the child of God should be joy! We have so many reasons to rejoice in the fact that we belong to Him.

Lessons learned from the conversion of the Corinthians, as recorded by Luke in Acts 18.

God chastises those He loves. This chastisement is described in Hosea 2 as a hedge of thorns. The lesson discusses the nature of and reason for God’s chastisement of His people.

Jesus observed a poor widow putting a pittance in the treasury, and commended her for her devotion. There are lessons we can learn about sacrifice, generosity and devotion from her example.

An examination of God’s rebuke of Israel, through the prophet Amos, as a result of the corrupting influence of wealth, and the oppression of the poor.

The lesson seeks to establish the proper response of God’s people to a world that is indifferent to Christ and His church.

This lesson uses the example of Zacchaeus to illustrate how we may overcome formidable obstacles in order to see (be reconciled with) Jesus.

In John 10:22-39, Jesus was accused of blasphemy “because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.” The text affirms Christ’s deity, and explains the reason for the Jew’s rejection of Him. In Jesus’ defense, he quotes Psalm 82:6, “I said, you are gods” to show the Jew’s inconsistency in claiming Him to be guilty of blasphemy.

The Sadducees were wrong in denying the resurrection. Their doctrine, as revealed in Matthew 22:23-33 was based on two faulty assumptions. Religious people today make the same mistake. Never base your doctrine on an assumption, it may too be faulty!
