Sermons Preached at West Side. Outlines, PPT Presentations and Audio files

We should always be thankful for not only the things we receive from God, but also for the people, past and present, that bless us physically and spiritually.

The Christian has the responsibility to be morally upright, to be Christ centered, to fill his or her appointed role, and to love fully for a home to be what Christ wants it to be.

The rejection of Jesus by his hometown of Nazareth serves to teach us important lessons about perseverence, respect for the will of God, and ridding ourselves of personal prejudices. (Lesson text: Matthew 13:53-58).

Spring 2016 Gospel Meeting. Speaker: Nathan Quinn
May 6-11, 2017
Theme: Faith Under Fire (Lessons from 1 Peter)

This sermon expresses why we should desire to be drawn to Jesus, as well as how it is done.

The phrase, “In the name of…” is used numerous times in scripture. It indicates a need for authority in all we do. The lesson is a discussion of the phrase and concept.

The book of Nehemiah reveals a people successful in building for the Lord because they had a working mentality, a balanced approach, were hindrance resistant, and were conscious of their responsibilities to God.

In the eyes of God you are valuable. Valuable enough that God sent His Son to die on the cross for your sins!

The text of Joshua 7 reveals Achan’s sin, and teaches us the fallacies many hold toward sin against God. Some claim one little sin won’t hurt. Others that it is their business what they do, and no one else’s. Others think their sin can remain hidden. All are untrue.
